The list of needs is short: health, food, shelter, safety, connections with others, and a little fun.
The truth is dry: we live for a while, and then we die.
Some of us crave knowledge, adventure, or progress. Give them spaces.
Some have big egos. Containing them is the challenge of all ages.
Seen from afar, we are hurling through vast space, maybe alone, likely not. It doesn’t matter, like everything else.
We may enjoy the ride. And if there is a single norm, such joy should be there for all.
Hence, respect each other, care for others, and love some.
We’ll be gone.
